Nepal made debut in Global Event of Twenty20 Cricket by successful participation in wt20 2014, Bangladesh. According to the revised rule of ICC, Nepal along with other associates have to compete separately with Bangladesh and Zimbabwe as the Group Qualifying match of ICC World T20. According to this system, Nepal was placed in Group A along with the host Bangladesh and other assocaites Afghanistan and HongKong.
Before the last match to go in the group, Nepal have already played two matches out of which, one win and one loss is registered. Nepal defeated Hongkong on the very first match by wide margin while it was defeated by Bangladesh on the next match where Nepal played with full spirit and made the game competitive rather than participatory.

The last draw of the group is as;
1. Nepal Vs Afghanistan
2. Bangladesh Vs HongKong
Equation for Nepal to Qualify for Next Round of World T20 2014:
Before the last match to go, Nepal and Afghanistan having one-one loss still have their chances alive slightly lesser than that of Bangladesh, which is unbeaten in the Group. Bangladesh has the last match to go which will be against HongKong. HongKong have shown good performances against the test playing nation, Zimbabwe in the warmups though they haven't shown respectable performance with Nepal.
So, HongKong will be seeking for their debut victory in T20 World Cup which seems to be beneficial for both Nepal and Afghanistan. Nepal, still have net RR in positive figure, while Afghanistan is in negative. If Bangladesh is defeated by HongKong and Nepal beats Afghanistan in the next draw, then Nepal have strong chance to proceed in the next round in terms of Net RR.
Nepal, has not only shown participation in their debut World T20, they have played the competitive cricket, against the test playing nation (Bangladesh, the host) too.
